The perfect Area Chef will assist in the overall kitchen management of up to 35 nationwide pubs, restaurants, and hotels. Why choose us? The role At Red Cat Independent Pubs, we're fully focused on delivering an awesome standard of fresh & seasonal British gastro-pub food, and the menus differ depending on the different pubs and restaurants, meaning no two sites/menus are ever the same. The ideal candidate will be based around the Hertfordshire area and will be predominantly tasked with travelling between the Southern-based site s and assisting in their kitchen operations. It is worth noting, however, that occasional nationwide travel will be required. The Area Chef will assist in sites that need short to medium term support, covering chef holidays and vacancies. It's a hands-on role and you will be expected to be in kitchens, assisting with service and supporting teams. A driving license and a car is essential. In return, the successful applicant can expect a generous pay package of up to £17 per hour (with full time hours) plus our company suite of benefits. Travel and accommodation costs (if required) are all covered by the company too.
