Make an impact where it matters the most - Children’s Social Work in Devon.
About Us
As Corporate Parents we are committed to ensuring all Children and Young People in our care can flourish and thrive in life. Using restorative practice and relational ways of working our practice is focused on achieving the best possible outcomes for our children and young people. We believe that for most families, the family home is the best place for children to live, with local, place-based support. Together, we're working hard to deliver permanence for our children in long term care with a real focus on supporting children to thrive in Devon and build lifelong links with their family and their community.
About the Role
Advanced Social Workers provide a key role within each team, holding a smaller but more complex caseload. You will model social work practice that is of a high standard and in line with statutory obligations as well as championing restorative practice, by encouraging a collaborative culture and supporting opportunities for reflection and learning. You will deliver on the job training, coaching, and mentoring to students, unqualified staff, and less experienced colleagues to develop their skills and continually improve practice standards within the team. You will evidence how pausing and reflecting can enable us to achieve the best possible outcomes for our children, young people, and their families.
