Offer description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Wirral to assist with the appointment of a Service Co-ordinator, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Hours per week: 29

Rate of Pay: £13.41 - £17.12 per hour

Summary:

To assist the management team in the service delivery and compliance with statutory regulations and company policies and procedures. Act as Shift Lead for a determined period based on operational need. Ensure activities delivered in accordance with plan. First point of call for emergent issues, ensuring escalation to Management when required.

Responsibilities:

Provide a flexible and person-centred response to the people the Service supports and their families.
Ensure individuals are monitored and records are appropriately maintained including the administration of medication.
Support management team in development and maintenance of joint working arrangements with internal and external stakeholders, supporters, and local communities.
Provide the management team with information when expenditure is required to enable the role to be carried out.
Communicate appropriately and effectively with staff and all stakeholders, verbally and in writing.
Qualifications:

Health and Social Care Qualification at level 2 or equivalent
Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation
Knowledge and understanding of quality standards and company requirements
Knowledge of person centred approaches and delivery of care and support in community based services.
Specialist equipment health and safety awareness
Understanding of the role of support in a social care setting
Please note:

You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
You should have right to work in U.K
This role requires an Enhanced DBS
