We are currently working with a number of schools in Cheshire
We are keen to hear from inspiring QTS, NQT's, Teaching Assistant's with Level 1-3 qualifications, HLTA certification or graduates who are considering a career within education. Ideally you will have your DBS on the update service, or willing to acquire one.
Subjects include:
Primary: Numeracy, Literacy and Science
Secondary: Maths, English, Science, Humanities and French.

Key responsibilities:
7. Working with small group cohorts from 1:1 - 1:6
8. Creating lesson plans tailored to the student's learning style
9. Assessing student progress, identifying areas for improvement and recording attainment levels using our internal reporting system
10. Deliver engaging sessions to support a range of learning styles
11. Drive measurable outcomes from each session to measure impact
12. Work collaboratively with educational/care stakeholders ensuring student support.
13. Working in accordance with the KCSIE and safeguarding guidelines.
Desired experience:
14. Experienced in tutoring one to one or small groups of pupils who require additional educational or pastoral support
15. Experience in taking supervision and correction constructively
16. Experience working in inclusion units, special settings or alternative provisions
17. Experience in working with students with SEN, children with undiagnosed SEN, disengaged young people or looked after children
Responsibilities:
18. Demonstrate academic competence in the subject area(s) and build a curriculum, creating lesson plans individual to the student's learning style
19. Assessing student progress, identifying areas for improvement and recording attainment levels using our internal reporting system
20. Assisting students with homework, projects, test preparation, papers, research and other academic tasks
21. Assisting students in understanding key concepts, especially those learned in the classroom
22. Contribute to students' learning, growth and advancement
23. Maintain a growth mindset toward student learning and teaching practice
24. Work collaboratively with schools, foster carers and social workers in order to ensure the student receives tailored support
25. Working in accordance with the KCSIE and safeguarding guidelines
Essential qualities:
26. Inspirational, effective & flexible communications skills
27. Competent IT skills, access to laptop/computer, audio and visual
28. Stable broadband & internet connection
29. Ability to develop meaningful relationships, encourage and motivate students.
Pay scale: £20.00 - £25.00 P.A.Y.E
