Odd Arts is a Manchester-based charity founded in 2004, dedicated to delivering creative and innovative theatre-based programmes across the community, education, health, and criminal justice sectors. The charity specializes in creating impactful performances and workshops on challenging themes, such as mental health, consent, and radicalization, reaching over 20,000 people annually. Through professional theatre tours, therapeutic projects, and social action initiatives, Odd Arts empowers participants to share their experiences, build resilience, and foster positive change. All projects are trauma-informed and grounded in restorative and strengths-based approaches, promoting non‑violent communication and enhancing individual and community well‑being.
Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Booking Manager at Odd Arts, based in Manchester with the flexibility to work remotely on occasion. The Booking Manager will be responsible for coordinating theatre tours and workshops, managing bookings for various projects, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Additional responsibilities include tracking schedules, liaising with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring smooth delivery and logistics for all programmes.
Qualifications
* Strong organisational and administrative skills, with experience in scheduling, managing bookings, and logistics coordination.
* Excellent communication and client liaison skills to build and maintain professional relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
* Proficiency with digital tools and software, such as spreadsheets, project management platforms, and email communication.
* Ability to multi‑task and prioritize effectively in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
* Knowledge or experience in the arts, theatre, or community work is highly desirable.
* Understanding of and commitment to restorative practices, trauma‑informed approaches, and non‑violent communication is a strong asset.
* Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as required.
