Due to continued growth we wish to recruit a Cashier to join our Finance team based at our Head Office in Newry.
Key responsibilities Include:
* Daily reconciliation and recording of cash, cheque, card and voucher takings
* Preparation of accurate bank lodgements and issuing miscellaneous cheques
* Managing and reconciling petty cash transactions
* Supplying stamps, lodgement bags, books and updating till floats
* Providing admin support to the senior company accountant
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
* Experience of working in an accounts department in a similar role
* Experience of working on a computerised ledger system
* Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
* High level of organisation with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Able to work well individually and as part of a team in a busy office environment
