Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and a strong background in sports coaching. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching swimming techniques to individuals of all ages and skill levels, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and innovative swimming lessons in line with the Swim England (ASA) National Plan for Teaching Swimming.
* Create a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for all members in the pool and surrounding areas.
* Provide excellent customer service, offering care and attention to every child and family.
* Maintain accurate attendance and progress records in collaboration with the Enterprise Swim School Pool Manager, ensuring individual, team, and departmental targets are consistently met.
* Work closely with Swim School management and the Enterprise Coordinator to achieve and exceed objectives, contributing to the commercial and operational success of the department and wider College Enterprises.
Qualifications
* Essential: ASA Level 1 or Level 2 Teaching Qualification, or STA Level 1 or Level 2.
· Barring Service Check.
* Desirable: Additional swimming-related qualifications (training can be provided).
* A proven track record of teaching or coaching swimmers of different ages and abilities.
* Experience in meeting targets and collaborating with colleagues to improve programme delivery and outcomes.
* The role is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.19-£17.06 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 7 per week
