Senior Quantity Surveyor Water / Civil Engineering (NEC Contracts) East Sussex | £85K Package Due to a recently awarded framework, a leading design and build contractor is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in East Sussex. The business delivers civil engineering, MEICA, M&E, process, and infrastructure schemes across Sussex and Kent, working predominantly within the water utilities sector. Current projects include reservoir refurbishments, pumping station upgrades, automation systems, and environmental protection works, with values typically ranging from £500K to £8M. The Role Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will play a key role across both pre-contract and post-contract stages, supporting the successful commercial delivery of multiple infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities include: Supporting tenders and pricing activities Subcontractor procurement and supply chain management Monthly valuations, cost reporting, and forecasting Preparation and management of CVRs Change control and variations under NEC contracts Providing commercial input and support to site/operational teams Ensuring robust contract administration across live projects About You Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying (BSc or equivalent) Minimum 5 years post-graduate QS experience Strong background in civil engineering, utilities, MEICA or water projects Solid working knowledge of NEC3 / NEC4 contracts Confident managing both pre- and post-contract duties Strong communication skills and commercial awareness This is an immediate requirement offering the opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of secured water sector work.
