UK Mail (Part of the EVRi Group) is continuing its journey of innovation and customer excellence, and we’re searching for a dynamic Senior Account Manager

We’re now looking for a Senior Account Manager to lead our indoor Account Management team while personally managing a portfolio of key strategic accounts. This is a high-impact, senior commercial role where leadership, strategy and customer obsession come together to drive growth, retention and service excellence.

Reporting into the senior commercial leadership team, the Senior Account Manager plays a critical role in shaping customer strategy, delivering revenue growth and developing a high-performing Account Management team.

You’ll work cross-functionally with Operations, Product, Finance and Implementation teams to align customer requirements with our evolving UK Mail proposition. From leading RFP responses and negotiating commercial terms to driving portfolio profitability and developing your team, you’ll be trusted to lead from the front and deliver results.

This role is ideal for an experienced senior account manager with strong analytical capability, commercial acumen and the confidence to operate at all levels of a customer organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Lead, coach and develop a team of Account Managers through structured 1:1s, appraisals and ongoing performance support
* Own and grow a personal portfolio of key accounts, delivering against revenue, volume, margin and service targets
* Retain existing business while identifying and exploiting opportunities for growth
* Lead and contribute to high-quality RFP and tender responses for your accounts and the wider business
* Act as a senior escalation point for customers, ensuring issues are resolved effectively and relationships strengthened
* Produce accurate MI, forecasting and performance reporting against targets, budgets and forecasts
* Analyse market conditions to develop competitive commercial propositions
* Lead commercial negotiations, contract renewals and pricing amendments through formal approval processes
* Drive efficiencies across your portfolio to enhance profitability while maintaining exceptional service levels
* Ensure full compliance with UK Mail standards, including forecasting accuracy, CRM usage and payment terms
* Provide ad hoc data, insight and customer information as required to support decision-making

What You’ll Bring

* 2+ years’ experience in senior account management within business services, mail, logistics, financial services or government sectors
* Minimum 2 years’ line management experience, with a demonstrable track record of coaching and developing teams
* Experience managing complex, high-value contracts in regulated environments
* Strong analytical skills, with confidence interpreting operational and financial data (Excel experience essential)
* Proven experience producing RFP responses, proposals and written client communications
* Confident presenter with the ability to engage, influence and build credibility at all levels
* Knowledge of mail services is desirable, but not essential
* Commercially focused, detail-driven and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
* Collaborative mindset, able to align customer needs with operational delivery
