Role / Responsibilities / Duties
* Understand and have a good knowledge of the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage, the Early Years Inspection Toolkit, Ofsted and Local Authority requirements.
* Ensure that all statutory guidance is adhered to.
* Develop partnerships with parents/carers to increase involvement in their child's development.
* Lead and inspire a team of Early Years Educators.
* Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for children.
* Plan, implement and monitor age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery through reflective practice and collaboration.

Essential Criteria
* Minimum Level 3 Early Years Qualification.
* Experience in a nursery/pre-school setting, ideally in a senior or leadership role.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework and statutory requirements.
