Heavy Duty Plant Fitter £24 £26 per hourLocation: Kirkby, Merseyside (Recycling Yard)Job Type: Full-time, PermanentWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Heavy Duty Plant Fitter to join a busy recycling and aggregates operation based in Kirkby. This is a long-term, stable opportunity working on a wide range of heavy plant and wash plant equipment.Salary & Hours:£24.00 £26.00 per hourOvertime rate: £32.00 per hourMonday to Friday: 07:00 17:00Saturday: 07:00 12:00 (as required)Additional hours available for maintenance and emergency repairs28 days holiday (including bank holidays)Company pension schemeKey Responsibilities:Maintenance, servicing, and repair of heavy plant machinery (excavators, loading shovels, crushers, screeners, wash plant)Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faultsPlanned preventative maintenance to maximise uptimeMonitoring and maintaining wash plant performance and output qualityCompleting accurate service and maintenance recordsWorking closely with operators, fitters, and management teamsEnsuring all work is carried out in line with strict health & safety standardsRequirements:Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skillsPrevious experience with heavy plant machinery essentialExperience with aggregate wash plant equipment highly desirableAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable, self-motivated, and safety consciousBasic computer literacy for reporting and recordsFlexible to work overtime and weekends when requiredWorking Environment:Outdoor yard and workshop-based rolePhysically demanding work in all weather conditionsTPBN1_UKTJ
