Corporate Senior Tax Manager

Role Overview
This senior role offers the chance to lead key client relationships and oversee delivery of complex tax projects that will help define the future direction of our tax practice. You will collaborate closely with partners and senior leadership to develop and execute strategies that support client success and drive business growth, while also mentoring and supporting the wider practice team.
You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, managing projects end-to-end, maximising fee income, identifying business opportunities, controlling work-in-progress, and overseeing billing processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a varied portfolio of corporate tax clients delivering expert advisory on mergers and acquisitions, tax due diligence, share option schemes, restructures, reorganisations, succession, and exit planning such as company buybacks, capital reductions, and management buyouts.
* Perform technical compliance reviews of corporation tax computations prepared by the team.
* Develop and nurture strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and uncovering opportunities to expand service offerings.
* Stay current with tax legislation updates, sharing insights with clients and the internal team to ensure compliance and highlight planning opportunities.
* Play an integral role in shaping the strategic growth of the corporate tax department including business development and improvement of internal processes.
* Represent the practice at client meetings, industry events, and business development forums.
* Ideally, bring some experience or knowledge in personal tax, VAT, and Stamp Duty/Stamp Duty Land Tax.

Salary
£49, £70,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
