We are investing in our fleet and provide the opportunity to work on a variety of makes and models. We are recruiting an IMI Level 3 qualified mechanic at Exeter Workshop on a Permanent contract.
Responsibilities
* Perform a full range of inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair procedures on a range of vehicles, trailers, and mechanical equipment.
* Use your own personal toolkit to undertake routine maintenance and repair light/heavy goods vehicles.
* Access specialist tooling and shared equipment in our modern, fully equipped workshops.
Qualifications
* Qualified mechanic: IMI Level 3 in Light or Heavy Vehicles or equivalent; you have your own toolkit for standard repairs.
* Varied vehicle experience: Proven Vehicle Technician experience working on a wide range of vehicles (e.g., LCV / HGV).
* Valid UK driving licence: Full manual UK driving licence; HGV licence with trailer experience preferred.
* High working standards: Pride in your work and commitment to getting the job done effectively.
* Flexible to service demands: Able to work on a flexible shift rota and support your team as needed.

Role details
We are recruiting an IMI Level 3 qualified mechanic at Exeter Workshop on a Permanent contract, with potential to earn up to £65k per annum including overtime.
* Working Hours: Full time – 39.5 hours per week (rotating shift pattern: week 1 06:00–14:30, week 2 07:30–15:00, week 3 11:30–20:00). 1 in 3 Saturdays required (with a weekday day off).
* Salary: £39,715 per annum.
* Additional weekend supplement on Saturdays (£52.10 per shift).
* Welcome bonus: up to £1,500.
