CNC Setter / OperatorTiptonDays Shift£15 – £17 per hourPermanent We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join a well-established and growing engineering company based in Tipton. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist looking for a stable, long-term role on a day shift.Key Responsibilities
* Ensure all parts meet required quality standards and tolerances
* Read and interpret engineering/technical drawings
* Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce high-quality precision components
* Carry out routine machine checks and basic maintenance
* Work collaboratively with the production team to improve efficiency and workflow
* Maintain a safe and organised working environment
Requirements
* Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator
* Experience with Siemens, XYZ, or Fanuc controls (preferred)
* Strong understanding of CNC machinery, tooling, and setups
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
* Reliable, proactive, and a strong team player
