Salary: £41,374 per annum (including London Allowance). Appointment may be made at a higher point for exceptional candidates.

Applications are invited for the post of Research Contracts Manager in the Research Contracts team within Research and Innovation. This is a key role for the University, focusing on enabling the delivery of the University’s strategic plan and its commitment to challenge‑led research and partnership. Reporting to the Head of Research Contracts, the Research Contracts Manager is part of a team responsible for the efficient and effective management of the University’s academic research income and intellectual property portfolio.
The role requires an experienced professional with significant background in the drafting and negotiating of research‑related agreements and preferably some experience supporting the commercialisation of research outputs. Excellent interpersonal skills, team player and ability to think and act independently are essential.
