Strategic Direction and Development
Assume responsibility for standards and outcomes in all schools in the designated cluster.
Visit all schools in the cluster regularly in proportion to their level of performance and model excellent leadership and teaching as needed.
Agree, oversee and monitor each school’s Annual Operating Statement and where appropriate Rapid Improvement Plans, taking remedial action when required.
Lead communications to Local Accountability Boards of schools in the cluster in liaison with the trust’s Governance Team and attend Local Accountability Board meetings.
Report to the trust as required on the performance of schools in the cluster against an agreed set of measures.
You will have:
Credibility as an experienced and successful Principal with a demonstrable track record of success, preferably in a secondary phase setting.
The ability to lead, manage, develop and inspire school leaders to secure improved standards and outcomes.
The ability to support Principals and school leaders to manage change rapidly and sustainably.
A proven record in school improvement, school-to-school support strategies, and how to implement them effectively.
Strong strategic and operational planning skills.
