We are seeking a Business Development Executive to generate new business opportunities and strengthen existing client relationships by delivering consultancy-led solutions across multiple sectors.
The Role
• Drive new business acquisition across sectors including agriculture, manufacturing, food production, and commercial property.
• Develop and grow existing client accounts through structured upselling and cross-selling of consultancy services.
• Maintain a balanced pipeline of marketing-generated leads and self-sourced opportunities.
• Undertake proactive outbound prospecting (approximately 50% of activity).
• Deliver consultative discussions around compliance and technical advisory services.
• Prepare tailored proposals and commercial documentation.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasting, and reporting.
• Conduct client site visits where appropriate.
• Achieve quarterly revenue targets through acquisition and account growth.
What Success Looks Like
• Completion of a comprehensive induction program.
• Pipeline established early and revenue targets achieved within the first three months.
• Consistent monthly performance across new business and account development.
What We’re Looking For
• Experience in B2B sales with consultative and new business experience.
• Confidence generating opportunities through outbound activity.
• Ability to build rapport quickly and develop long-term client relationships.
• Comfortable selling consultancy-led or technical service-based solutions.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation capability.
• Experience managing pipelines and activity through a CRM system.
• Sector-specific knowledge or experience highly desirable.
• Highly organised, resilient, and target-driven.
