Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist, Sports or Massage Therapist ( LEVEL 4/5) to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide therapeutic massage treatments to patients, supporting their overall well-being and recovery. This role offers an opportunity to work within a clinical environment, delivering personalised care that promotes relaxation, pain relief, and improved mobility. The ideal applicant will possess relevant experience ( Level 4/5+)and a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, ensuring safe and effective therapy sessions.
Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' needs and develop customised treatment plans
* Perform various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and specialised therapeutic modalities, dry needling and exercise/rehab
* Maintain accurate documentation of treatments administered and patient progress
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans
* Ensure all equipment and treatment areas adhere to hygiene and safety standards
* Educate patients on post-treatment care and self-maintenance strategies
* Stay updated with the latest developments in massage therapy and related healthcare practices
Experience
* Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting is highly desirable
* Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare environment
* Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage
* Familiarity with medical procedures related to patient treatment plans
* Experience working with diverse patient groups, including children and those with special needs, is preferred
* Be able to build and retain a patient base
