We are searching for an experienced Senior Environmental Manager at our Bristol Temple Quay facility.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
RPS is looking for a Senior Environment Manager to join our Environment & Infrastructure Team. You'll lead the management and delivery of key environmental projects across the UK, assisting clients in managing and obtaining environmental consents, including for national infrastructure schemes and renewable energy projects.

The role involves varied daily activities, including working with clients, attending meetings, providing advice on consent applications and compliance, and collaborating with environmental teams on delivery schedules. You may serve as a project manager or director, taking responsibility for environmental team delivery, managing stakeholder interfaces, and overseeing project finances.

We seek a highly organized, excellent communicator who leads projects proactively. You should have strong knowledge of environmental requirements during major UK development and infrastructure projects, with a degree (or equivalent) in an environmental or related field. An MSc or other professional qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory. Experience in leading environmental aspects of development projects, especially in construction post-planning and during detailed design and construction stages, is essential. Experience with delivering consents under hybrid bills, DCO, TWA, and TCPA regimes is highly desirable.
What’s in it for you?
We offer a competitive salary, investment opportunities, and benefits including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, options to purchase additional days, pension, disability schemes, share incentives, life assurance, cycle-to-work, health screening, employee assistance, dental cover, professional memberships, and discounts via BenefitHub.
