Key Stage 2 Teacher – Full-time, temporary to permanent from September 2026 The inspection report highlights a positive and well‑structured primary school environment where pupils demonstrate excellent behaviour and strong personal development. This Key Stage 2 Teacher role offers a full-time, temporary to permanent opportunity within a supportive primary school setting from September 2026. The Key Stage 2 Teacher will deliver high-quality teaching that supports pupils’ academic progress, confidence, and personal development. This role is ideal for a committed Key Stage 2 Teacher seeking long-term stability and the opportunity to secure a permanent position. Duties as Key Stage 2 Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum for Key Stage 2 Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs Differentiate lessons to support pupils with a range of abilities Maintain clear routines and high expectations for behaviour and learning Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum planning and consistency Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development Communicate effectively with parents and carers where required Contribute positively to wider school life and professional development Uphold safeguarding, welfare, and health and safety responsibilities at all times Ideal Key Stage 2 Teacher: Holds Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 Strong classroom and behaviour management skills Ability to motivate and engage pupils of varying abilities Organised, reflective, and committed to high-quality teaching Willingness to begin on a temporary basis with the opportunity to become permanent Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Why Step Teachers?
