Role: Asset Maintenance Field Service Engineer
Contract: Permanent
Location: Southend-on-Sea
As an Asset Maintenance Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:
* Adhering to safety guidelines and all policies set out by customers and Briggs Equipment
* Servicing and maintaining Diesel, Petrol, and Electrically powered Small Plant, Agricultural, and Ground Care Equipment
* Attending Breakdowns, Fault Finding, and completing planned Preventative Maintenance
* Maintaining high customer service standards and addressing queries
* Completing job activities electronically and ordering required parts
* Maintaining the company vehicle and ensuring it has the correct parts stock
* Developing and maintaining customer relationships through high standards of service
As an Asset Maintenance Field Service Engineer, you should demonstrate:
* Relevant technical qualification
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical principles
* The ability to work independently and under pressure
* Strong workload management and prioritization skills
* Understanding customer needs
Compensation and Benefits:
* A base salary from £36,934 per annum based on a 40-hour week
* Overtime payable at 1.5x Monday – Saturday and 2x on Sunday
* Vehicle available for private use (tax to be paid)
