We are committed to developing talent and providing a supportive environment where you can grow and succeed.Responsibilities:Support the monitoring of security systems, alerts, and potential threatsAssist in identifying and responding to security incidentsHelp maintain and improve security controls, policies, and proceduresContribute to vulnerability assessments and risk analysis activitiesSupport user awareness initiatives and promote cyber security best practicesAssist with audits, compliance activities, and documentationWork collaboratively with IT teams to ensure secure system operationsWhat you'll learn:Fundamentals of cyber security, including threat detection and incident responseNetwork and system security principlesRisk management and compliance frameworksUse of industry-standard security tools and technologiesReal-world experience in protecting business-critical systems and dataYou will need the following skills:A strong interest in cyber security and technologyGood problem-solving and analytical skillsWillingness to learn and develop new technical skillsStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesBasic understanding of IT systems (desirable but not essential)Driver with own vehicle (not essential but desirable due to location of office)Entry requirements:an A-Level in ICTOR an International Baccalaureate at Level 3 ICTOR an A-Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subjectOR a BTEC Extended Diploma in IT (180 credits)You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme.
