Essential Requirements
* Minimum 8 months experience within a care setting
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
* Confident with medication administration
* Manual handling and hoisting experience
* Personal care experience
* Reliable and able to work independently
* Strong communication skills
The Role
We are supporting a residential care home in the Shipley and Keighley area seeking experienced Care Assistants for adhoc and casual cover.
You Will Be Responsible For
* Delivering high quality person centred care
* Supporting residents with personal care needs
* Administering medication in line with policies
* Assisting with mobility including hoisting
* Supporting residents with daily activities
* Maintaining accurate care records
* Promoting dignity, independence and safeguarding at all times
This is a hands on role suited to candidates who can integrate quickly into established teams and confidently manage shift responsibilities.
