This is an internal vacancy and can be based in Crick or Thirsk. This is a career band People Manager / Professional B and is aligned to the total reward offering. Role To cover all current and future digital IT-related initiatives and plan into executable detailed project plans, coordinate cross-functional teams (IT, Supply-Chain, Finance, OPS, Commercial) and third-party vendors, and steer the delivery of running and future IT Projects and integrations on time, in scope, on budget-escalating risks, issues and spend as required. Key Accountabilities Detailed project planning - build and maintain integrated sub-plans for the digital projects(eg.OMS, MuleSoft AI, IT systems, Channel Engine, data-migration). Governance & RAID log - record risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies; chair weekly workstream huddles; escalate to Steering/Leadership. Budget tracking - capture actuals & commitments; raise variance flags > 5 %. Vendor / partner coordination - align IPN teams with third-party; ensure SoWs and deliverables are met. Cut-over & UAT orchestration - coordinate non-prod environments, data loads, defects, Testing and go-live check-lists. Reporting - produce concise Steering-pack slides, status RAG (Red, Amber & Green), and milestone burn-down. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Strong Project Management Skills/capabilities Demonstrable experience threading multiple workstreams into one plan (ERP OMS integration layer). Comfortable using JIRA /MS Project / Smartsheet (tool selection flexible per project). Able to read high-level integration diagrams and speak credibly with architects and vendors, while translating into business language for stakeholders. Strong RAID, change-control and stakeholder-management discipline. Must be proficient in modern PM / collaboration platforms and adapt to: Internal stack - Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams etc. Vendor stacks - e.g. JIRA/Confluence (SIs), Slack (agency projects) etc. Version-controlled RAID/action logs (Excel Online). Gravitas to push back when scope/budget creep emerges, yet collaborative style.
