We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and inclusive school community. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to the learning and development of pupils with additional needs.
About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to provide targeted support to children with a range of special educational needs. You will play a key role in helping pupils to access the curriculum, develop their independence and reach their full potential.
A significant part of this role involves completing regular annotations of the childs work on a laptop to monitor progress and inform planning. Full training will be provided to ensure you feel confident and well-prepared in this area.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with SEN, adapting learning activities to meet individual needs.
2. Assist in the preparation and organisation of learning resources.
3. Monitor, record and report on pupils progress through clear and accurate annotations on a laptop.
