We are a busy team, who like a challenge and deliver at pace. We work collaboratively as a team across two historic sites. We are hands on and work together to get the job done and create exceptional visitor experiences.You’ll be helping to support the smooth running of the property group in the Business Services team. Tasks might include banking, booking groups, invoicing, handling visitor enquiries, supporting with systems and finances, creating reports and general admin duties. You’ll work efficiently, proactively and flexibly and support our admin volunteers to make the most of their time in the office. Knole and Ightham Mote are busy places, there’s a lot going on, so you’ll always be looking at how you can offer support beyond your team, including working outside the office with visitors on busy days. This is a busy and varied job – no two days will be the same and you’ll be looking at how you can offer help where needed. You’ll be supporting office-based volunteers in their roles, as well as working with wider staff and volunteer teams across both sites. This role is part-time, 15 hours per week. Occasional weekend working (typically 1 day per month) will be required. Pay: £12.75 per hour - we’re currently undertaking our pay review process and it is likely that this salary will be increased from 1st April 2026. For this role, you’ll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form.
