Teaching Assistant Level 2 with SNA allowance
Role: Teaching Assistant- Working with SEN / Key Stage 1
Location: Bolton
Contract: Monday to Friday
9am-12:15pm - 16.25 hours per week
Salary: From £13.75 depending on experience (AWR will be addressed after 12 working weeks)

About the Role:
A Bolton primary school is seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to work closely with a young child who has additional needs and displays challenging behaviour. The role involves delivering tailored support, applying behaviour management techniques, and encouraging positive engagement with learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Offer 1:1 support for a child with SEN and behavioural challenges.
Apply personalised learning and behaviour management strategies.
Work alongside the class teacher to foster an inclusive classroom environment.
Help the child build social and emotional development skills.
Establish a positive, trusting relationship with the pupil.
Requirements:
✅Level 2 Teaching Assistant
A current, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
✅ Effective behaviour management abilities with a calm and patient demeanour.
✅ A strong passion for helping children with additional needs thrive.
✅ Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
