Job overview Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has an exciting opportunity to join the Finance team based at Warrington Hospital as Band 6 Costing Accountant (subject to banding). The successful candidate will be part CCAB or AAT qualified, or with equivalent experience in a busy finance office environment, preferably within the NHS, and will possess excellent communication and organisational skills and a real commitment to excellent service delivery. Advert The Costing Accountant will lead on the Trusts Service Line Reporting and will play a key part of the annual National Cost Collection submission to NHS England. They will support the Senior Costing Accountant and utilise benchmarking information alongside PLICS to support service delivery. They will be responsible for managing the Assistant Costing Accountant. You must be capable of working to tight deadlines whilst ensuring consistency and accuracy, able to prioritise both your own and the Assistant Costing Accountant workloads and be able to work on your own initiative as well as under supervision. An enthusiastic and energetic approach to work along with an acceptance of work flexibility and continuously changing working practices is essential.
