Oracle DBA, 8 Month Contract Opportunity, Inside IR35, Hybrid
We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA for a contract role supporting enterprise-level systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle technologies and proven experience in managing complex database environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administration and support for Oracle databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
* Implement and manage Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, and Grid Infrastructure/Clusterware.
* Perform database cloning, patching, and upgrades for Oracle E-Business Suite R12.
* Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues using SQL*Plus and PL/SQL.
* Manage backup and recovery strategies using RMAN.
* Support and maintain Oracle WebLogic environments.
* Develop and maintain reporting solutions using OBIEE.
* Work with open-source platforms such as Liferay and Oracle development frameworks including ADF and APEX.
Required Skills & Experience
1. In-depth knowledge of Oracle Database Architecture (12c).
2. Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, and Grid Infrastructure.
3. Strong understanding of E-Business Suite R12 setup and administration.
4. Proficiency in SQL*Plus, PL/SQL, and scripting for automation.
