Your New Company & Role:
Based in South Lanarkshire, this rapidly growing principal contractor (renowned for working on some of the UK’s most exciting engineering projects) is seeking an additional P6 Planner to join their team.
This newly created role poses a genuinely exciting opportunity for a Planner seeking to join an industry leading engineering contractor. Applications are welcome from P6 Planners with extensive experience, and from those who are currently at Assistant Planner level.
Responsibilities:
· Develop, maintain, and update project programmes using Primavera P6
· Produce baseline, progress, and look-ahead programmes.
· Update programmes using progress information from project teams.
· Monitor programme performance, key milestones, and critical paths.
· Support change management, programme revisions, and impact assessments.
· Assist with programme-related reporting and progress updates.
· Work closely with project managers, engineers, and commercial teams.
· Promote consistent planning standards and best practice across projects
Applicant Criteria:
· Proven experience working as a Planner using Primavera P6
· Strong understanding of civil engineering activities and construction sequencing
· Experience within infrastructure, transportation, utilities, or similar civil engineering sectors.
· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
· Confident working with programme data, updates, and reporting
· Clear communicator with a collaborative approach
· Able to manage multiple programmes and priorities.
· Reside within commuting distance of the advertised location.
