Job Summary
Are you an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist looking for an opportunity to grow and develop? Join Springwood Lodge in Guiseley, Leeds – a service that supports women over the age of 18 with complex emotional and mental health problems associated with significant risk behaviours. You will play a key role in promoting health and independence by delivering high‑quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions, and by providing clinical leadership, supervision and consultation to the multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
* Communicate effectively with clinicians, managers, directors, associate directors, service users, family members, stakeholders and agencies.
* Provide compassionate and effective leadership to junior staff, including support staff and assistants.
* Ensure the delivery of occupational therapy student placements.
* Support the completion of appraisals and personal development plans for junior staff.
* Develop and implement appropriate policies, protocols and care pathways.
* Manage a designated caseload: deliver assessments, plan and implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes aligned to care plans.
* Demonstrate specialist expertise in occupational engagement, environmental adaptation, and the development and maintenance of skills needed for meaningful participation.
Qualifications and Experience
* Occupational Therapy professional qualification.
* UK HCPC registration.
* Extensive and relevant post‑qualification clinical experience with people who have complex needs.
* Extensive experience applying occupational frames of reference and approaches.
* Evidence of highly effective clinical reasoning skills.
* Highly specialist knowledge of relevant assessment and treatment models.
* Knowledge of how to work with neurodiverse individuals.
