PA is required to work with a 6-year-old Autistic boy for 4.5 hours a week (outside school hours) He has some mobility challenges, and some speech and communication support is required. (Use of pre-made visuals to support understanding and transitions/some speech and language targets). The role of a PA for this boy is to help him access a range of activities in the community. Collection and drop off at home may be required. No official qualifications needed, although a desire to work with children and motivation to help him achieve his best is a must! You should be reliable and able to commit to the same days/hours each week as routine is important for him.
