Beyond Talent Solutions is supporting an established organisation based in Sheffield who is seeking an experienced Interim Accountant to support the finance function during a busy period. This is a hands-on interim role, ideally suited to someone confident working to deadlines and producing accurate, insightful financial information.
Responsibilities
* Preparation of monthly management accounts
* Supporting the production and review of budgets and forecasts
* Month-end activities including accruals, prepayments and journal postings
* Working closely with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight
* Supporting continuous improvement of financial processes where appropriate
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a management accounting or similar accounting role
* Confidence preparing full sets of management accounts
* Previous experience supporting budgeting processes
* Strong Excel skills and the ability to work with financial systems
* The ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
* Proactive approach where you will pick things up quickly
