IT Support Analyst – 1st Line
Hinckley, Leicestershire – Office-Based
Full-Time | £25,000 - £27,500 p/a
Join a growing team as an IT Support Analyst, providing first-line support across both on-premise and cloud IT systems. This is a great opportunity for someone with at least 6–12 months of IT support experience to grow their skills in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do:
Be the first point of contact for IT issues resolving incidents both onsite and remotely.
Support end-users with hardware, software, and account access (PCs, printers, mobile devices).
Manage user accounts and permissions via Active Directory.
Assist with basic network and remote access support (VPN, LAN/WAN, firewalls).
Work with 3rd-party providers and assist on IT projects.
Maintain IT documentation and help deliver inductions for new starters.
What You’ll Bring:
6–12 months+ of IT support experience.
Working knowledge of Windows 10/11, TCP/IP, Group Policy, and AD.
Great communication skills and a user-focused mindset.
A keen eye for detail and good documentation habits.
Desirable (Not Essential):
Awareness of ITIL, Windows Server, Microsoft 365/Azure, or Hyper-V.
Certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or ITIL Foundation.
