As the Territory Account Manager at Caron Products, your responsibilities include developing and executing a strategic sales plan that drives sales of our Cabinets and Fume Hood products, including related services. The ideal candidate should have a proven sales track record, be driven and dynamic with a hunter mentality, a fast learner with strong networking and communication skills, and capable of strategic thinking and tactical implementation.
Responsibilities
* Penetrate key accounts in the life sciences research and clinical space, including CROs, Biotech, Pharma, Academia, and Industrial markets.
* Manage new account acquisition, sales funnel, and maximize lead-to-opportunity conversion and opportunity-to-order conversion.
* Present and sell Caron’s lab products and solutions.
* Achieve or exceed sales revenue and unit targets.
* Maintain continuous sales funnel management, accurate sales forecasting, and effective CRM utilization.
* Explore market potential in new or diverse subject areas, ranging from simple standalone solutions to complex multi-instrument projects.
* Arrange and deliver virtual and in-person seminars and product demonstrations.
* Attend and organize trade shows and set up booths.
* Conduct team calls and training sessions with customers.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years of sales experience, including direct and multi-channel sales preferred.
* Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
* Ability to travel up to 50%.
* Bachelor's degree in a science field, preferably life sciences.
* Strong knowledge of the life science field across R&D, production, and clinical spaces.
* Proven prospecting and negotiation skills to close sales successfully.
* Technical knowledge and practical solution selling experience.
* Experience selling into laboratory environments.
* Proven capital equipment sales experience to biotech, pharma, academic, or clinical customers.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Excel.
* Energetic, charismatic, perseverant, and determined.
* Strong prospecting skills with a hunter mentality.
* Customer-focused with excellent listening skills.
* Good interpersonal skills to build relationships and work within a matrix organization.
* Solid organizational skills and effective time management.
