About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Quality Engineer to play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our Quality Management System (QMS) in a complex, fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on solving technical challenges, driving compliance, and influencing operational excellence across the business.
As a member of the quality team, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring that products, processes, and systems meet the highest standards, both regulatory and customer-driven. You will also serve as a key interface between quality, production, engineering, and supply chain functions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and continuously improve the QMS in line with ISO 9001 and applicable customer or industry-specific standards.
* Lead root cause investigations and develop robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve systemic quality issues.
* Collaborate closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to drive process improvements and embed quality into daily operations.
* Review and approve quality documentation, including control plans, FMEAs, PPAPs, and work instructions.
* Drive supplier quality initiatives, including onboarding, audits, and performance monitoring.
* Utilize data-driven analysis (e.g., SPC, Pareto, trend analysis) to identify risks, track KPIs, and report on quality performance metrics to senior leadership.
* Support new product introductions by ensuring quality is built into product and process development phases.
What We’re Looking For:
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality, or a related technical discipline.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
* Deep understanding of QMS principles and practical experience with ISO 9001 (additional standards like ISO 13485, IATF 16949, or AS9100 are a plus).
* Strong knowledge of core quality tools: 8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP, and control plans.
* Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
* Effective communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
