Cover Supervisor – Lowton & Wigan
We are currently working with a range of welcoming and supportive secondary schools across Lowton and Wigan seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors for flexible supply opportunities. About the role
• Delivering pre-set lesson plans in the absence of the class teacher
• Supervising classes across KS3 & KS4 and maintaining positive learning environments
• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged with learning
• Supporting students and responding confidently to classroom situations
• Working across a variety of subjects and school settings
• Flexible day-to-day and short-term supply opportunities available

Person Specification
• Previous experience working with young people is essential
• Confident managing classroom behaviour
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible, adaptable, and reliable approach
• Degree educated or school-based experience preferred
• Passionate about supporting students and education
• Experience in a school, coaching, youth work, or mentoring background is advantageous
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
