Apprentice Mechanical Engineer
Location: HMP Swaleside, Eastchurch. ME12 4AX
Salary: £25,566.00 per annum
Contract: Full time, 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, fixed term

As an Apprentice Mechanical Engineer, you'll learn alongside experienced professionals who live our values of Pride in People, Do the Right Thing, and One Team, contributing to meaningful work that supports rehabilitation and long-term social impact.
You will work closely with skilled engineers, supporting the maintenance and repair of critical mechanical, plumbing and heating systems that keep sites safe and operational. Through on the job learning, mentoring and formal training, you will build specialist knowledge, practical skills, and recognised qualifications.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
* GCSEs or equivalent at grades A to C or 9 to 4 in English and Maths
* Demonstration of practical work or mechanical aptitude
* Skilled in the Microsoft Office suite of applications
* Good organisation skills
