About the Role:
ACL Hygienics as part of Tridon-Europe is a global leader in flow control solutions for the pharmaceutical and food & beverage sectors. We are seeking a proactive, detail oriented Assistant Accountant who will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing the sales ledger, and supporting daily financial operations. This role also includes assisting with credit control, improving financial processes, and providing excellent service to clients and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support in managing the sales ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
* Process and post daily invoices relating to stock and services.
* Produce daily sales reports to assist in monitoring business performance.
* Conduct monthly supplier statement reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
* Assist with credit control duties, including following up on outstanding payments as needed.
* Provide excellent customer service to clients and internal stakeholders, handling queries promptly and professionally.
* Raise credit notes and resolve invoice discrepancies effectively.
* Post daily banking transactions and ensure accurate financial records.
* Perform daily bank reconciliations to maintain up-to-date cash flow records.
* Collaborate with the finance team to identify and implement process and system improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
Key Requirements:
* Experience in a finance or accounts assistant role.
* Familiarity with financial software and systems; SAP experience is required
* Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused approach.
* Demonstrated experience using Excel for data analysis, including creating pivot tables and using lookup formulas (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
