Looking to inspire the next generation of scientists and mathematicians? We’re working with a fantastic school in Dorchester seeking a passionate and skilled Maths & Science Teacher to teach across KS2 and KS3, starting this September.
About the Role:
The purpose of the role is to:
Plan, develop and deliver high-quality science and maths lessons using a variety of approaches to enhance teaching and learning
Engage and inspire pupils across KS2 and KS3
Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and high-achieving learning environment
Salary: Main Scale 1–6 (dependent on experience, negotiable for the right candidate)
Opportunity to develop subject leadership experience for the right candidate

The successful candidate will:
Have the ability to teach science and maths across KS2 and KS3
Be an excellent classroom practitioner who delivers a high standard of education
Be an innovative thinker with the passion to bring the curriculum to life
Have a strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies, particularly for pupils with SEND
Demonstrate excellent classroom management
Have the ability to inspire and motivate learners
Work effectively as part of a team
Meet all relevant teaching standards
