Overview
A leading international consultancy is seeking to appoint a Group Financial Controller to join its London headquarters. Operating across multiple countries, the business is recognised for delivering highly analytical, commercially focused advice to a blue-chip client base and offers a collaborative, intellectually rigorous culture.
Description
Reporting to the COO/CFO, the Group Financial Controller will take ownership of the financial reporting function and play a key role in supporting the continued growth and development of the business. This is a broad, hands-on position with responsibility for leading and managing a small finance team, covering financial reporting, group consolidation, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow management, and the continued enhancement of financial controls and processes. The role will also act as a key business partner to senior stakeholders, providing high quality analysis and insight to support commercial decision making. In addition, you will lead the year-end process and external audit, oversee the production of monthly management information and board reporting, and drive improvements across systems, controls, and reporting capability.
Skills
The ideal candidate will be a graduate qualified accountant, ideally ACA or equivalent, either within industry or also potentially straight from public practice. You will have strong technical accounting expertise and experience operating within a multi-entity or international business. Applicants should demonstrate a proactive, commercially minded approach, strong analytical capability, and the confidence to deliver effectively at both strategic and operational levels.
