We oversee the 1st and 2nd line IT support function across our Furness campuses. We ensure resources are effectively deployed to meet business needs and service demands. We act as the first point of escalation for more complex end-user support issues. We maintain service standards and ensure KPIs for availability, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction are met. We drive timely diagnosis and resolution of incidents, problems, and service requests. We ensure clear ticket progression and strong communication with users. We escalate issues appropriately to third-line teams when required. We mentor junior colleagues and support continuous professional development. We ensure processes and procedures are documented, maintained, and followed consistently. We contribute to operational reporting and ongoing service improvement. We maintain accurate asset management practices. We contribute to user-facing and internal IT knowledge bases. We support operational efficiencies across IT service delivery. We ensure appropriate stock levels of devices and equipment are maintained. We respond effectively to cybersecurity incidents. We promote continuous improvement across the function and within our own professional development.
