Our Community Services team based in the Scarborough locality is looking for band 6 Community Nurses. This clinical role involves both direct patient care & co‑leading a team of nurses & HCAs.
You may already have the degree level Specialist Practitioner qualification or we will support you to undertake the course within 2 years of commencing. Community Nursing is a highly specialised area of practice recognised by the Queens Nurses Institute and NMC as a specialist role. As a District Nurse/Senior Community Nurse, you will work within an integrated hub model of District Nurses, Specialist Nurses, Community Staff Nurses, Therapists, Trainee/Registered Nursing Associates, Associate Practitioners, and Health Care Assistants to meet the needs of the complex patient in the community and avoid admissions to the acute sector as far as practicable.
