Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Hull
Salary: £99 – £115 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking Cover Supervisors to work across schools in Hull, providing essential classroom supervision in the absence of the regular teacher.
About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing classrooms, ensuring students remain on task with pre-prepared work, and maintaining a positive learning environment. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with experience in education or working with young people.
Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor:
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain engaged in their learning.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
* Provide guidance and support to pupils in completing their work.
* Supervise whole classes across different subjects and year groups.
* Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students.
* Assist with administrative duties when required.
Cover Supervisor Requirements:
* A degree, Level 3 qualification, or relevant experience working with young people.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* Adaptability to cover different subjects and year groups.
* Previous experience in education or youth work is desirable.
* A genuine passion for supporting the academic and personal growth of students.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
