Customer Support Assistant
We’re recruiting for a Customer Support Assistant to join our laboratory team based at the Exeter Laboratory in Countess Wear. This is a full‑time position, offering a salary of £26,914 per annum, plus a range of company benefits.
What You'll Be Doing
* Liaising with laboratory customers (internal and external) to provide effective customer support.
* Supporting the administration of procurement activities for the laboratory using ELLIPSE.
* Receipt and registration of samples received for regulatory and commercial purposes using LIMS Sample Manager.
* Running reports to monitor samples received and acting to resolve any deficiencies to ensure samples are analysed according to customer expectations.
* Liaising with subcontractors, providing results and entry of returning sample data.
* Displaying high standards of performance and quality control in keeping with regulatory standards and policies.
* Assisting with occasional local off‑site collection or delivery of samples.
* Other office‑based general administration and occasional duties, which may include out of hours or weekend working.
What We're Looking For
* 5 GCSEs grade A‑C including English and Maths, or Science (or equivalent qualifications).
* Previous experience within an office administration role and a customer‑facing role.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office packages and SharePoint.
