🌟 SHEQ Manager - Manufacturing | Telford | Mon‑Fri 8:30‑5:00 🌟
Our client, a leading manufacturer, is looking for a SHEQ Manager to join their site in Telford. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact across Health, Safety, Environment, Quality and Continuous Improvement.
Roles
* Lead SHEQ culture across the site with visible, hands‑on leadership.
* Drive improvements in product quality, service levels and customer care.
* Ensure full compliance with ISO 45001, 14001, 50001 and UK SHEQ regulations.
* Lead Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives, using structured problem‑solving tools (PDCA, FMEA, Pareto, 8D, APQP).
* Manage SHEQ systems, audits, risk assessments, incident reporting and corrective actions.
* Champion lean manufacturing and embed best practice across all teams.
About You
* 5+ years’ SHEQ management experience within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of SHEQ systems, CI tools and lean/six sigma methodology.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, able to influence at all levels.
* Proven track record in delivering tangible SHEQ improvements.
* Confident IT skills, particularly MS Office.
Desirable
* NEBOSH certificate in managing health & safety.
* Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
