The Role
We're looking for a Stakeholder Events Associate to join our Communications and Engagement team. In this role you will work to support the design and delivery of a wide range of events and engagements with Ofwat's external stakeholders.
You'll work closely with colleagues across the organisation, including senior leaders, to support their participation in events and speaking engagements. This will include preparing briefing materials.
You'll play a central role in the stakeholder engagement function, coordinating our events systems and processes to ensure we offer a professional events service to the organisation.
You'll represent Ofwat with a range of external stakeholders, liaising with event organisers, suppliers and the offices of senior leaders to coordinate our involvement across a wide ranging programme of external events and speeches.

About You
Below are some of the key essential experience, skills & knowledge required for this post:
1. Experience working in an events; stakeholder engagement, and/or communications role, supporting the delivery of high-quality external events and engagement activities.
2. Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and concisely for a range of channels and audiences.
3. Experience delivering a range of events in different formats, including in-person and virtual.
4. Experience using MS Office, events management tools, including Eventbrite, Microsoft Teams, and survey platforms.
5. Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
6. Experience working with and supporting senior leaders, including preparing briefing materials.
7. Experience of producing accurate notes and records from events and meetings.
