The Best Connection is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and experienced Retail Store Manager to join a busy team in Glasgow City Centre. This is a fantastic temporary-to-permanent opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and retail management experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a team of 5-6 staff
* Conducting team meetings and delegating daily tasks
* Preparing and updating weekly staff rotas
* Handling payroll, sickness, holidays, and general HR issues
* Supporting staff with customer service and in-store queries
* Liaising with site managers to ensure smooth store operations
* Overseeing the overall performance and day-to-day running of the store
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years of experience in retail sales (required)
* Proven retail management or supervisory experience
* Comfortable working full shift patterns and covering weekends
* Capable of working independently, including lone shifts
Shift Pattern
* 4 or 5 days per week
* Must be available for the majority of Saturdays and peak trading periods
* Store hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
