The Role
This is a global role working with and supporting the VP of Product Marketing in managing High Jewellery and internal collaborations within the DB group, focusing on sales and margin growth.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Supporting continuous review of market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing, and presenting evaluated business opportunities.
2. Developing campaign strategies and 3-year global plans for High Jewellery product categories.
3. Supporting regional and global product launches and managing the product portfolio, ranges, and prices.
4. Implementing a transparent and commercially aware cost management approach.
The role collaborates with global teams to implement strategies, launch plans, and selling tools in markets. You will monitor and report on ROI and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will also lead and manage a team of two.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supporting product portfolio strategy development and launch planning.
2. Working closely with Design, Development, and Merchandising teams from brief to market performance, including forecasting, pricing, and sales analysis.
3. Monitoring competition and sales performance, and making strategic recommendations.
4. Developing and executing global product strategies to grow the business profitably.
5. Setting growth and turnover objectives within the 3-year plan.
6. Conducting market research to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Product Marketing
1. Managing product launch plans and developing creative briefs aligned with brand strategy.
2. Overseeing the entire product development process, ensuring deadlines and margins are met.
3. Proposing concepts, names, and positioning for key launches, and supporting launch activities.
4. Ensuring product range coherence and financial performance, including discontinuing underperforming products.
Financial Objectives & ROI
1. Monitoring and reporting on ROI and marketing performance metrics.
2. Aligning new product revenues with overall brand revenue targets.
3. Optimizing margins and stock quality strategies.
4. Recommending global price positioning to balance sales and margins.
Qualifications & Experience
* Relevant degree, professional qualification, or proven experience in luxury jewellery branding.
* Experience with strategic product marketing and international markets.
* Strong project management skills and knowledge of the jewellery industry.
* Ability to analyze complex data, make strategic decisions, and communicate effectively across audiences.
* Leadership skills to inspire and manage a team.
