Production Technician £15.00 - £16.00 per hour Overton 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday Temporary to Permanent The Role of a Production Technician: We are currently seeking a Production Technician to join our client's team in Overton. This role will involve supporting the Senior Engineers on site with the assembly, maintenance, and optimisation of production equipment within a woodwork manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with technical aptitude who enjoys hands-on work and problem-solving. Responsibilities of a Production Technician: Supporting Senior Engineers with installation, maintenance, and repair of production machinery Assisting with machine set-up and changeovers to ensure efficient production runs Monitoring equipment performance and reporting faults or inefficiencies Using power tools and industrial machinery safely and effectively Assisting in the manufacturing and assembly of bespoke timber products Loading and unloading machinery with materials Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment The Candidate: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment Mechanical aptitude or engineering background preferred Ability to follow technical instructions and work from engineering drawings (desirable) Comfortable working with tools and machinery Physically fit and able to lift materials where required Reliable, proactive, and able to work as part of a small team The Package: £15.00 - £16.00 per hour (depending on experience) Pension 28 days annual leave Overtime opportunities Opportunity for permanent employment To Apply: Travail Employment Group is operating as an Employment Business.
